Major Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide planned instruction in each subject assigned to teach.
• Follow the course of study specified in state law and school district regulations.
• Provide learning experiences to encourage maximum growth for each student.
• Select and use appropriate materials available in the district for students and subjects assigned.
• Evaluate pupils’ academic and social growth, keep appropriate records and communicate with parents and staff on the individual pupil’s progress.
• Identify pupil needs and consult with other professional staff records, in assessing and helping pupils solve health, behavioral, and learning problems.
• Maintain basic student records as required.
