1:1 Teaching Assistant

We’re working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school looking for a teaching assistant to join their friendly team. They are looking for someone to support a pupil who needs a bit of extra guidance and support to thrive in the classroom.

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support tailored to the indivudal needs 
• Supporting a pupil to stay engaged and focused throughout the school day
• Working cloesly with the class teacher and SENCO 
• Confidence in managing behaviour

What we’re looking for

• Some experience with SEN/ behaviour management, or an interest in developing your skills
• A team player, willing to build relationships with pupils and staff
• A calm, patient and supporting approach to learning
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to get one
