Position objective

The Radiation Therapy Department at the Walker Family Cancer Centre (WFCC) is an expanding program that provides state-of-the-art treatment planning, simulation, and treatment for external beam radiation. Our centre has 3 Linear Accelerators and a CT simulator. The radiation therapist works within a multi-disciplinary department team consisting of Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists, Oncology Nursing, Booking Clerks, Secretaries, and Personal Support Workers who collaboratively provide comprehensive patient-centred support to create the best patient experience per the values of Niagara Health.
